Kathy Altvater, 62 of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025. She was born in Jasonville, IN on March 26th, 1962, to Waldo Cazee and Betty Crist Cazee.

Kathy enjoyed shopping anytime she could. She loved to listen to music, especially Journey, but most of all her kids and family were her life and she loved them dearly. As well as her only granddaughter who had a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Dycus and Tonya Frost, Son-in-law Chad Dycus, brother Ed Cazee and granddaughter Emma Frost. As well as an Aunt Mary Heyen, friends Nicola Gibbons and Brandon Crews, the Altvater family, nieces Amanda Bayes and Paula Bayes as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Kathy is proceeded in death by her parents, Waldo Cazee and Betty Cazee. As well as sisters Rose Cazee, Carrie Cazee, and Sandra Willis.

In keeping with her wishes cremation was chosen. A celebration of life will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home 220 N. 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, IN on Thursday, March 27th, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held from 11:00 – 1:00 in the funeral home until service time. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
