Laney M. Trevino

Laney M. Trevino, 41 of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 in Union Hospital.  She was born in Terre Haute on March 9, 1982 to John McCalister, Sr. and Sue Scott McCalister.

Laney enjoyed playing softball, horses, shopping, and collecting candy skulls, but most of all she loved her family.

Laney is survived by her husband Jesus “Jesse” Trevino and two children, Mario Trevino and Anna Trevino, as well as her parents, John, Sr. and Sue McCalister.  She is also survived by her siblings; Kim McCalister (Nickie Romono), John McCalister, Jr., Kelly Nicholas (Nic), and Nathan McCalister (Jennifer), her mother-in-law, Diamantina Trevino, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur D. and Anna Lee Scott and Robert and Virginia McCalister, as well as her father-in-law Mario C. Trevino.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3^rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the funeral home.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow services.
