Larry D. "Joe" Freeman

Larry D. “Joe” Freeman, 77, of West Terre Haute, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019 in Union Hospital.

He was born April 28, 1942 in West Terre Haute to Fred Freeman and Eppy Hughes Freeman.

Larry was formerly employed as Control Room Manager at PSI. He was a member of the West Terre Haute First Baptist Church and a member of the IBEW#725.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Norm Freeman, Fred Freeman, and Doyle Freeman.

Larry is survived by his wife, Marilyn Rhoden Freeman, whom he married February 29, 1964; his sons, John Freeman (Lisa) and Jim Freeman (Kim); his daughter, Jennifer Moore (Gary Bays); his twin brother, Terry Freeman (Mary Jo); his sisters, Linda Cassagne (Larry) and Judy Smith (Harry); his grandchildren, Corey (Melissa), Kyle (Christy), Candace, Kaleb, Cody, Jacob, Megan, Peyton (Morgan), Devon and Rycon; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Liam, Lincoln and Olivia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana. Visitation will be Friday, August 23, 2019 from 4-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Augustus will be officiating; burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial contributions to the West Terre Haute Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
