Leslie Michelle (McKillop) Krockenberger

Leslie Michelle Krockenberger, 47, of West Terre Haute, passed away January 13, 2019 in Gibson Family Center for Hospice.

She was born February 6, 1971 in Vigo County to Mike and Carla McKillop.

Leslie was a 1989 graduate of West Vigo High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana State University. Leslie was part owner of Krockenberger Racing (Sprint Cars), worked at ISU for over twenty years and previously worked for the Vigo County School Corporation and currently worked as a secretary at Ernie Pyle Elementary School. She also volunteered for the March of Dimes.

Leslie was preceded in death by her parents; her mother-in-law, Carolyn Krockenberger; and sister-in-law, Jennifer Krockenberger.

She is survived by her husband, Shawn Krockenberger; brothers, Brad McKillop (Ginger) and Steve McKillop; father-in-law, Ed Krockenberger; brothers-in-law, Daren Krockenberger (Laura) and Eric Krockenberger (Karen); and several nieces and nephews.

Leslie will be greatly missed by her two dogs, Sugar and Spice.

Services will be Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at West Side Christian Church, 126 North 8th Street, West Terre Haute. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor Chris Wilbur will be officiating; burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery. Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute was entrusted with care and arrangements.
