Linda G. (Allsup) Reeley

Linda G. Reeley, 77 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 in Hutson Wood at Brazil Healthcare.  She was born in Terre Haute on May 16, 1945 to James Isaac Allsup and Thelma Bridget Allsup.

Linda co-owned and operated her own trucking company with her husband Michael, whom she married in 1976.  During Mike and Linda’s long marriage, their main goal in life was to help anyone and everyone in need.  Overall, Linda fostered nearly 20 kids in their life.  Linda was dedicated  to being the best parent, grandparent, and great grandparent to her family.

Linda is survived by two daughters, Bridget Weir and Gwendolyn Donnelly, and seven grandchildren; Jon Snodgrass, Nycole Paitson, Macie Weir, Beverly Weir, Aaron Klutey, Allyson Donnelly, and Samantha Liffick, as well as eight great grandchildren.  She was the youngest of eleven children and is also survived by her sister Jerry Dickison, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Michael Reeley.

Linda was always selfless and thought of others before herself, therefore we will fulfill her request and not have a visitation open to the public.  Close family members will have a small celebration for Linda at 2218 Hawthorne Ave., West Terre Haite, IN on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 4:00 PM.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been chosen.  Arrangements are under the care of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
