Linda Kay Runkle

Linda Kay Runkle, 67, passed away in her home, in Terre Haute, Indiana, on August 11, 2020.

Linda was born in Terre Haute on December 21, 1952 to Ethel Florence (McBride) Truxal and Herbert Raymond Truxal.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, John Michael Runkle; brothers, Jack Truxal, Robert Truxal, John Truxal, Kenneth Truxal; and sister Carolyn Heinzelman.

Linda is survived by her sisters, Mary Baker, Patricia VanHorn, and Betty Stewart, and many nieces and nephews.

Linda worked as a certified nursing assistant, primarily while residing in Woodstock, Georgia, before moving to Terre Haute for retirement.  She enjoyed listening to Neil Diamond CDs, singing, and helping others whenever she was able to.  Linda had a kind heart and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been chosen.
