Linda Kay Worthington

Linda Kay Worthington, 77, of Terre Haute, passed peacefully on October 19, 2024, in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Union Hospital. She was born on July 9, 1947, in Decatur IL, to Earl Edwin Rogers and Neva Mildred (Millsap) Rogers. Linda retired from Miller White Advertising after 25-plus years. She was a great crafter and an even better baker. She loved quilting, sewing, and knitting, as well as baking cakes and biscotti. Family was very important; she loved her family. One of her favorite days was attending the Millsap family reunions. Linda was a past president of the Terre Haute Optimist Club. She was very involved in the March of Dimes and also was a board member. She also was a long-time affiliate of the Girl Scouts of America. Linda is survived by her daughters; Julie Worthington, Amy Wright (Scott), and Abby Wright (Ben), her sister Susan Wallace (Gary), as well as eight grandchildren; Brandon Wright (Britney), Anna Hubbard, Evan Hubbard, Jenna Hubbard, Simon Wright, Ezra Wright, Tristan Wright and Treytan Wright and 3 great grandchildren, Ka’Miah, Tiana, and Ava. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Worthington, 3 siblings, Jimmy, Carol, and Bill Rogers.Services for Linda will be Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 12 noon EST. Visitation will be from 10 am until service time in the funeral home on Thursday. Chaplain Mike Bennet will officiate.
