Luna Elizabeth Sue Carter

Our darling Luna unexpectedly left us on March 14, 2024. Leaving behind a loving mother, Jazman Hinkle (Brazil), father Charles Carter, 
 (Brazil) brother Luca Whitaker (Brazil) and Leilani Carter (Brazil).  

Luna was born November 8, 2023 in Terre Haute, Indiana. Her residence was in Brazil, Indiana where she lived with her mother and grandmother Nicole Poorman. Luna loved to smile and be talked to. She loved all kinds of music and watching people dancing. 

Other survivors include: Grandparents, Nanna Nicole Poorman (Brazil) and partner Tyler Maybaugh, LeRoy Hinkle II (Terre Haute), Elizabeth and Jason Siddons(Brazil) and Joshua Carter (Brazil). Great-grandparents Katherinne and Edward Cox (Brazil), Nancy Lovett (Brazil). Aunt Chantael Elliott and husband Caleb (Worthington), Aunt Shianna Alexander (Brazil), Uncle, Ricky Atkinson (Brazil), Aunt Shannon Alexander (Brazil), Uncle Leo Carter (Brazil), Uncle Joshua Carter (Brazil), Aunt Nova Carter (Brazil). Great uncle Joe Poorman II and other various family members. 

She was preceded in death by Jocelyn Poorman, Jaike Matthews, ShyAnn Atkinson and Elijah Whitaker. 

Visitation will be March 22, 2024 11:00 – 01:00 with service following at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3^rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana. The burial will be at Barnhart Cemetery in West Terre Haute, Indiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Chris Gregg (Brazil).
