Madonna Leah (Secrest) Boerner

Madonna Leah Boerner, 74 of West Terre Haute, passed away at 4:15 PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.  She was born in Terre Haute on August 22, 1946 to Charles Secrest and Nina Ralston Secrest.

Madonna was an amazing cook and loved her grandkids more than anything.

Madonna is survived by her husband Robert Lee Boerner, and their two sons, Christopher Lee Boerner and Scott Alan Boerner (wife Abby).  Also surviving are four grandchildren; Caden Lee Boerner, Cameron Jace Boerner, Emery Jo Boerner, and Ava Marie Boerner, as well as her siblings; Richard “Dick” Secrest, Gary Secrest, Jerry Secrest, Dana Secrest, Jim Secrest, and Nancy Domke, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held at Union Baptist Church Cemetery (Armstrong Cemetery) in southern Vigo County on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 12 Noon, with Pastor Tim Minks officiating.  Burial will immediately follow.  Visitation will take place at the cemetery on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
