Marjorie Ann Clements, 89 of Newburgh, IN and formerly of West Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Golden Living Center in Newburgh. She was born in Terre Haute on June 6, 1929 to Stanley Culver and Gladys Haskell Culver.
Marjorie and her husband Charlie were the owner of the Dog N Suds restaurant and Clements’ Market in West Terre Haute. She was a member of 6th Street Wesleyan Church in West Terre Haute. She enjoyed art and playing the piano, and was also an avid reader. She loved to go out to eat, watching TV, and having her coffee.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter Amy Freeman (husband Kirk), daughter-in-law Becky Clements, and five grandchildren; Andy Freeman (wife Amy), Jason Freeman (wife Danielle), Emily Freeman Fenwick (husband Brandon), Christopher Clements (wife Beatrice), and Adam Clements (wife Cori). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie in 1994 and by her son Bill Clements in 2001.
Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10:00 AM, with Pastor Stacy Tomich officiating. Burial will follow at Marshall Cemetery in Marshall, IL. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 9:00 -10:00 AM in the funeral home.
