Marjorie E. (Flinn) Joy

Marjorie E. Joy, 91, of West Terre Haute passed away at 8:40 a.m. Saturday December 25, 2021 in Harrrison’s Crossing Health Campus in Terre Haute. She was born July 7, 1930 in Edgar County, IL to Floyd Flinn and Carrie Griffith Flinn. Survivors include: Her Husband, Harry L. Joy whom she married in 1953 in Terre Haute; a son Gerald “Jerry” Joy (Amy); a daughter Debbie Long; a sister-in-law Sue Flinn; four grandchildren Seth Silcock (Holly), Kea Evinger (Dusty Jr.), Shelby Joy, and Tyler Joy; four great grandchildren Austyn Silcock, Smith Silcock, Quinn Evinger, and Piper Evinger. She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers. She retired from Kmart and she loved bowling, and her most favorite activity was going to her grandchildren’s ballgames.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 2, 2022 at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN, with Pastor Jeff Augustus officiating. Burial will be in Dunlap Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time Sunday in the funeral home.
