Martha J. (Morris) Waggoner

Martha J. Waggoner, 83 of Terre Haute, passed away at 12:32 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 in her residence.  She was born August 4, 1936 to Lige Morris and Dilcie Fout Morris.

Martha was a housewife and wonderful cook.  She is survived by her husband Pete Waggoner, whom she married January 21, 1975.  She is also survived by her children; Cindy Stone (Don) and their children Verlie, Madalynn, and Chris, John Eyman, Lois Ellis and her children Zach and Caity, Fred Gussler and daughters Leslie and Ashley, Tammy Butler (David) and their children John and April, Richard Gussler (Angel Burton) and children Richard, Danielle, Logan, and Abigail, Robert Gussler (June Pinnell), John Waggoner and his children Trisha, Amber, and John II, and Petey Waggoner and his children Mackenzie and Avery.  She is also survived by several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Lige and Dilcie Morris, her step-mother, Erna Morris, son Michael Eyman, grandson Robert Gussler II, and siblings; Charles Morris, James Morris, Jr., Sam Morris, Gertie Nelson, and Evelyn Sowers.

Funeral services for Martha will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
