Mary L. Hendricks, 95 of West Terre Haute, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2023 in her residence with her daughter, Kathy, by her side. She was born in West Terre Haute on October 5, 1928 to Frank Mershon and Eva Schoffstall Mershon.

Mary was a member of the Assembly of God Church in West Terre Haute.

Mary is survived by five children; Arlie Selvia, Jr., George Selvia (Nancy), Sandy Dyer, Garry Selvia (Donna), and Kathy Sprague (Ken).  She is also survived by her siblings; Iva Montgomery, Patsy Horner, Carolyn Tageson, and Kenneth “Butch” Mershon, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Arlie Selvia, Sr., her 2nd husband Homer Hendricks, and four children; Earl Selvia, Dorothy Leona Richey, Ben Selvia, and Vickie Shaw.

Graveside services will be held at Bethesda Memorial Park on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow. Pastor Randy Smith will be officiating. Pallbearers will be John Bowden, Jeremy Bowden, Samuel Bowden, Hunter Bowden, Duggin Wilkins and Carter Lycan. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana.
