Mary Anne (Kincade) Hux

Mary Anne Hux, 83 of West Terre Haute, passed away at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Harrison’s Crossing.  She was born in Terre Haute on July 27, 1935 to Edward Kinkade and Thelma Perry Kinkade.

Mary Anne is survived by her three children:  Stephen M. Hux (LuEllen), Rebecca J. Yaw, and Robert E. Hux (Donna).  Also surviving is a brother, James Kinkade (Barbara), and a sister, Rea Jane Linville, as well as 5 grandchildren; Brittany Nelson, Tyler Hux, Brandon Yaw, Carlie Smith, Kayla Hux and 7 great grandchildren; Gabriel, Xavier,Madison, Annabell, Serenytie, Taleigha, Raylan.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Eugene Hux, her grandson Gregory Robert Yaw and an infant son.

Mary Anne enjoyed being a homemaker. Her interests included painting, baking and canning and she was an avid IU basketball fan. Following high school, she attended Indiana State Teacher’s College, where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM, with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating.  Burial Will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday, October 12, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the funeral home and on Saturday from 9:00 -10:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Wabash Valley, in her memory.
