Max E. Ramsey

Max E. Ramsey, 76, of West Terre Haute passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 in his residence.

He was born May 9, 1941 in West Terre Haute, Indiana to Chancie Ramsey and Mabel Hessey Ramsey.

Max was a welder at J.I. Case. He was a member of the Vigo County Conservation Club. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and socializing.

Max is survived by his wife of 57 years, Vickie Graham Ramsey, whom he married August 13, 1960; His son, Scott Ramsey; his daughter, Kathy Ramsey Cooper; and his granddaughter, Katelynn Ramsey.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Ramsey; and his father and mother in law, Effort and Eva Graham; as well as, others of his extended family.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Crosslane Community Church, 2204 Lafayette Avenue, Terre Haute, Indiana. Pastor Brett Wilson will be officiating. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Crosslane Community Church Food Pantry. Envelopes will be available at the church. Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, was entrusted with arrangements.
