Mike L. Stuck

Mike L. Stuck, 54 of West Terre Haute, passed away at 1:17 PM on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.  He was born in Terre Haute on September 7, 1964 to Raymond Stuck and Sharon Beck Stuck.

Mike was a member of Family Worship Center in Brazil, IN.  He was a 1982 graduate of West Vigo High School and was warehouse manager at Flooring America, where he worked for 25 years and was treated like family.  He enjoyed playing golf, especially at his “home” course—Marks Par Three, and even recorded three hole-in-ones during his playing career.  Mike also was an avid IU basketball fan, enjoyed NASCAR, and was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan.  He was nicknamed “The Legend” by one of his great nephews.

Mike is survived by his wife Renee Matlock Stuck and their three daughters; Brittany Stuck, Kayece Stuck, and Elizabeth Stuck. He is also survived by his parents, Raymond and Sharon Stuck, his siblings, Raelynn Prouse (husband Jeff), and Brian “Todd” Stuck (wife Josie), mother-in-law and father-in-law Sandy and Bob Matlock, brother-in-law Danny Matlock, and sister-in-law Debbie Bartlett, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, a brother-in-law, and a special nephew, Anthony Deckard.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Larry Richmond officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 11:00 AM until service time.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow at a later date.  The family would like to thank Union Hospital and the 3rd floor staff there, as well as both Dr. Huh and Dr. Mendoza and the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.  In addition, a big thank you goes out to all the ladies at Family Worship Center for supplying meals for the last few weeks.
