Noma M Allsup

Noma M. Allsup, 90, of West Terre Haute, IN passed away Thursday August 22, 2019 in her residence. She was born April 1, 1929 to Joel Harrison Neal and Goldie Morgan Neal. She married the love of her life John Henry Allsup on March 13, 1946 and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2009. They were blessed with five children all of whom survive her: Jeanie Robinson (Dennis), Patricia Schoffstall (Rex), Paul Allsup (Nancy), John Allsup (Janet), Connie Hill (Alan). Also surviving are two sisters Carolyn Shell and Barb Bolton; a brother Willy Blackburn (Lynette); sixteen grandchildren Josi Allsup, Jase Allsup, Angela Allsup, Mandy Hill, Bradley Hill (Trisha), Toni Runyon (Sean), Brooke Snider (David), John Schoffstall (Jennifer), Kim Kane (Chris), Joy Wilson (Aaron “Bo”), Susan Delattre (Willy), Jenena Parker (Dennis), David Robinson, Greg Robinson (Jo Lee), Dennis Robinson (Angie), and Rachele Grassick (Don); twenty six great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by Her parents; two brothers James Morgan and Harold Stafford and four sisters Deloris Finchum, Joann Olinger, Dora Porter, and Josephine Elliott.

Noma enjoyed working in her yard and working word search puzzles. She enjoyed reading her bible which she had read over twenty times. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute, Indiana. Visitation will be Sunday August 25, 2019 from 4-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and also from 9:00 a.m. until service time Monday. Pastor Bob Roush will be officiating. Burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery.

The family suggests that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the New Goshen Volunteer Fire Department with envelopes available in the funeral home.
