Parris Hendricks Rubinacci

Parris H. Rubinacci passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 15, 2024. He was 62 years old.

Born on August 23, 1961 in Terre Haute, Indiana, Parris was the son of the late Barbara Beedle and Charles Rubinacci. He is survived by his brother Victor, sister-in-law Linda Rubinacci (wife of Antone), children Giuliana Rubinacci (Robert) and Nick Rubinacci (Katie), nephews Victor Rubinacci (Tracey), Vito Rubinacci (Shelley), Anthony Pesavento (Sarah), Troy Pesavento (Jackie), nieces Lynette "Bunny" Shoemaker and Melissa Joy, and several great nieces and nephews.

Parris was preceded in death by his parents Barbara and Charles, and his brother Antone.

A 1979 graduate of West Vigo High School, Parris was a skilled diver during his high school years. He married his high school sweetheart, Debbie Joslin, in 1983, though they later separated in 1997. Parris spent his career as a laborer with the Local 204 Laborer's Union, taking great pride in his work on various buildings and projects throughout the years. He was always sure to point out buildings and projects that he was part of developing. His electrical skills were evident in his hobby of building drones, which he often flew with his great nephew Aiden Rubinacci. He had a special relationship with his great nephews Aiden and Anthony Rubinacci and brother Victor who was more like a father figure.

Parris had a deep passion for astronomy and enjoyed listening to the music of Rush, Pink Floyd, Tool, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Above all, he loved his children with all his heart and frequently spoke of them as being his greatest accomplishments in life.

Funeral visitations will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home in West Terre Haute on Friday July 26th from 5-7 pm, with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society, an organization that Parris held dear.
