Patrick D. Kelley

Patrick D. Kelley, 66 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 surrounded by his family.  He was born in Terre Haute on October 19, 1956.

Pat was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in West Terre Haute and played in the Praise Band.  He was a lifelong musician and a member of the Wabash Valley Musicians Hall of Fame.  He loved spending time with his family and his dogs.

Pat is survived by his wife Sandra Hansel Kelley and three children; Charity Fischer (Kelly), Michael Kelley (Jackie), and Gina Pugh (Bob), as well as his grandchildren; Jesse Murphy, Ciara Griffin, Kendall Murphy, Garrett Pugh, Aubrey Pugh, Brody Pugh, and Eli Lash and six great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister, Carrie Slaughter (Mark), brother-in-law Bill Hansel (Colleen), and former son-in-law Chuck Murphy, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loved friends and bandmates.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Madonna Bedino.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM, with Bill Dunbar officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 221 South 6th St., West Terre Haute, IN, in his memory.
