Paula Gail (Cook) Norton

Paula Gail Norton, 64 of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 8:01 PM in Union Hospital.  She was born in Terre Haute on February 9, 1955 to Brice Odell Cook and Leona Mae Crowther Cook.

Paula was a Foster Mother to countless children.  She is survived by her children; Darrell Cook (Sally), Verna Cowley (Eddie), Misty Miller, Tammy Norton, Stephen Norton, Jr. (Alison), Rose Patterson (Chris), Wendy Keeton, Cindy Rowland (Jason), Janet Keeton (Bart), Daisy Hoffert (Michael), and Crystal Seward (Shannon).  Also surviving is her significant other, Richard Norton, grandchildren; Rebecca, Nick, Justus, Keyli, Andrew, Jersey, Nevaeh, Melinda, Gary, Chad, Noah, Dalton, Cody, Skyler, and Charlie Gail; great grandchildren, Layla, Ryker, Lisa, Henry, Nick Jr., Faith, Jana, and Dravin.   In addition, she is also survived by her sisters Lois Greenlee and Deborah Bedford as well as several nieces and nephews.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stephen Norton, brothers Terry Cook and Odey Cook, and a sister, Linda Phelps.

Graveside services for Paula will be held at Dunlap Cemetery in Dennison, IL on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 10 AM, with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
