Pauline (Clark) Bowden

Pauline Bowden, 92 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 in her residence.  She was born on November 23, 1928 to Herbert Clark and Nova Jones Clark.

Pauline was a member of 1st Assembly of God Church in West Terre Haute.  She loved her family and taking care of them, she was the glue that held the family together.

Pauline is survived by her two children, Thomas Bowden and Connie Jean Eikenberry, and her grandchildren; John Bowden (Patricia), Jeremy Bowen (Liz Ann), and Chad Eikenberry (Heather).  She is also survived by her great grandchildren; Alathia Bowden (Carter), Sam Bowden (Haley), and Duggin Wilkins, as well as her great great grandchildren; Tucker, Dean, Haven, Chloe, Cooper, Braley, and Brinkley.  She also leaves behind a brother, Joe Clark, and two sisters, Bessie Davis and Helen Eschenbrenner, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 71 years, Harold Clifton Bowden, who died on August 8, 2021, one brother Walter Clark, her twin sister Lorene Troxell, as well as two other sisters, Mary Catron and Wanda Lob.

Funeral services will be held at 1st Assembly of God Church, 708 National Ave., West Terre Haute, IN on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Randy Smith officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time in the church.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
