Pauline Parker, 90, of West Terre Haute passed away at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday July 18, 2017 in her son's home surrounded by family. She was born May 12, 1927 at Oaktown, IN to William VanPatten and Jean Joyce VanPatten. She was preceded in death by her husband John A. Parker in 1985. Survivors include: two sons Dennis L. Parker and his wife Darlene and Duane Parker all of West Terre Haute; A Daughter-in-law Sarah Parker and her daughters Anna Pine (Dale) and Debbie Thomas; eleven grandchildren Tammy Hurst (Jim), Mike Parker (Beth), Steve and Jennifer Parker, Bill Parker (Kim), Dennis E. Parker (Jenena), John Paul Parker, Bryan Parker (Robin), Douglas Parker, Jason Parker, Michelle Smith (Steve), and Jonie Hunter; thirty four great grandchildren; nineteen great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by a son John R. Parker; a special friend Ted Branson; a step-grandson Bryan Wallace; and three sisters. Pauline loved being with her family, playing euchre, singing karaoke and was known to play the part of Marie Lauveau. She loved life, nature, and being outdoors, fishing, swimming, and mushroom hunting. Pauline was known for her quick wit and her friendliness to everyone and her no bake cookies!. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Roush officiating. Burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until service time Saturday.
