Peggy Sue (Hammock) Gieseking

Peggy Sue Gieseking, 64 of Brazil, passed away on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023 in Union Hospital. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on October 24th, 1958, to Lattie B. Hammock and Mary J. Hatfield Hammock.

Peggy had many things she loved like listening to Elvis, Watching WWE and her favorite baseball team the St. LouisCardinals. She also had a love for Unicorns and her favorite character from Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore. She also served her country in the U.S. Army. Peggy was a lioness who fought every day to protect her cubs and provide everything they could possibly need. She was happily married to her husband Edward Ketner for 6 years.

Peggy is survived by her Husband Edward Ketner, her children, Billy Paul (Robin), Anna Wilson (Paul), Jennifer Chapman (Angel), Jessie Gieseking, and Terra Dailey (Thomas). She is also survived by her sisters, Barb, Louise, Virginia, and Rose. As well as many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Lattie and Mary Hammock, her brother, Virgil, and her son Alex Gieseking.

Private services have been scheduled with Fitzpatrick Funeral Home in charge of care and arrangements. The family welcomes memorial contributions be made to funeral expenses and her many grandchildren in honor of Peggy Sue Gieseking.
