Phillis Darlene Belleu

Phillis D. Belleu, 75 of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 in her daughter’s residence.  She was born in Terre Haute on October 20, 1946 to Bryan Sims and Katherine Chrisenberry Sims.

Phillis is survived by her five children; Sharon “Sherrie” Rogers (Mike), Minnie Walker, Phillis “Dar” Hoke (Dean), Jean Hargis (Brian), and George “Bub” Belleu, Jr. (Sally).  She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren including one special angel Maddison.  She was preceded in death by her husband George Belleu, Sr. who passed away on April, 2016, as well as two siblings; Jimmy Sims and Trina Belleu, and a son-in-law, Kenny Walker.

Phillis was a housewife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 12:00 Noon, with Pastor Kenneth Alkire officiating.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon in the funeral home.
