Phyllis Ann Sons

Phyllis Ann Sons, 62 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 in Regional Hospital.  She was born in West Terre Haute on June 25, 1959 to Russ Stevens and Margaret Aguirre.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter Rose Stevens (Brandon Fields), her brothers; Donn Yarbrough (Irene), Mike Yarbrough (Kathy), and Vance Yarbrough; her long-time partner, Robert Sons; and her mother-in-law Wanda Sons.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews; David Hammond, Barbara Stevens, Debbie Stevens, John Stevens, and Bub Hammond; her best friend, Rose McGranahan, and brothers and sisters-in-law; Rodney Sons (Amy), Ronnie Sons (Pam), Charlie Sons (Darlene), Rich Fields (Joyce), and Ronda Stevens (Mike).  She was preceded in death by her parents, her birthmother Margaret Davis, parents who raised her, Dora and Ida Stultz, brothers; Herschel Davis, Gene Yarbrough, Jimmy Davis, and Teresa Henk.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 3:30 PM, with Richard Mott officiating.  Cremation will follow services.  Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 2:30 – 3:30 PM in the funeral home.
