Rebecca Ann Patrick

Rebecca Ann Patrick, 95 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, September 26, in Providence Health Care. She was born in West Terre Haute on June 23, 1929 to Raymond Hogue and Lena M. Shaffer Hogue.

Ann attended Faith United Methodist Church and Cedarville UMC in Ohio. She enjoyed knitting, working crossword puzzles, and reading murder-mystery novels and helped to raise four exchange students during her parenting years.

Ann is survived by six children; Delmar Patrick (Cris), Jane Patrick, John Patrick (Judy), Mike Patrick, Donna Patrick-Worman (Rance Phillips), and Scott Patrick, as well as a foster son, Phillip Locke. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Patrick in 1993, her son, William H, “Bill” Patrick in 2023, as well as 2 sons-in-law, Thomas Long and Mark Worman.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Ed Gladish officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 12 Noon – 2:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to either the Providence Food Pantry or the Sisters of Providence, in her memory.
