Richard C. Bartlett, 62, of Rosedale, IN passed away at 2:18 a.m. in his home surrounded by his loving wife and family. He had been employed with Midwest Rail prior to his illness. He was born August 9, 1954 at Port Jervis, New York to Robert Bartlett and Sharon Utter Bartlett. Survivors include: His Wife, Debbie Matlock Bartlett; his children Heather Cox (David), Chalice Rahl (John), and Robby Bartlett (Mandy); Step Children Travis Arnold, Wes Arnold, Jeremy Deckard (Hillary), and Andrew Deckard (Kim); his father; a brother Jeff Bartlett; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law Bob and Sandy Matlock; Sister-in-law Renee Stuck (Mike); Brother-in-law Danny Matlock (Kristy); Grandchildren: Michael, Audrey, Jazlynn, David, Kylie, Christha, Lawson, Brittany, Heather, Abby, Megan, Addison, Gabe, Lily, Layla, Tyler, Haley, and Ethan; a great granddaughter Annabelle; and special friends Gus, Bear, Stan, Mark, Jim, Bobby, and many more. He was preceded in death by his mother and a step-son Anthony Deckard. According to his wishes, cremation has been arranged with a Celebration Of Life to be at a later date. Fitzpatrick Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
