Robert Jay Clouse

Robert Jay Clouse, 17, of Terre Haute, passed away in an automobile accident on July 3, 2019.

He was born January 6, 2002 in Terre Haute to Benjamin James Clouse and Leona Nikole (Haraway) Wiggins.

Robert was an honor student at Terre Haute South High School. He was a member of JROTC and was active in the community; placing flags on veteran’s grave on Memorial Day. Robert had high hopes and aspirations of serving in the United States Marine Corp. Robert was employed at McDonald’s as a crew trainer.

Robert was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jennifer Clouse; and his great grandparents, Wilma Marie Cox and Loyal Cox, Sr.

He is survived by his father, Benjamin James Clouse; his parents, Jeremy Wiggins and Leona Wiggins; his grandparents, William and Crystal Schocker, Mike and Darla Wiggins, Loyal Cox, Jr., Leona Benoit Crowley, and Michael and Rae Haraway; great grandparents; Marjorie Wiggins, Grace Wilson, and Ruth Corbin; his siblings, Bailey Wiggins, Zoey Clouse, and Benjamin Clouse, Jr.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 1:30 PM, with Pastor Julie Lake officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
