Robert Michael "Mike" Hamilton, Jr.

Robert Michael “Mike” Hamilton, Jr., 34 of Fairfield, Ohio and formerly of West Terre Haute, passed away at 5:15 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2020 in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was born in Terre Haute on November 7, 1985 to Robert Michael Hamilton, Sr. and Mary I. Holmes Hamilton.

Mike was a machinist for GE Aviation, and loved being outdoors and taking care of his lawn as well as being in his garage and making jerky.  He was an avid gun collector, but family was what meant the most.

Mike is survived by his wife Nicole L. Cuffle Hamilton, and their two daughters, Lanie Nicole Hamilton and Ralie Makel Hamilton.  He is also survived by his mother, Mary Hamilton and three sisters;  Tammy Borden (Andrew), Dawn Clerk (Kevin), and Lori Dooley, and his best friend, Mat West (Kristie), as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Michael Hamilton, Sr., a sister, Christy White, and grandparents Jack and Anne Holmes.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 6:00 PM.  Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Lanie and Ralie Hamilton College Trust Fund, C/O of Fifth Third Bank, in his memory.
