Robert "Swamp" Leek

Robert “Swamp” Leek, 66 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020.  He was born in Terre Haute, IN on September 6, 1954 to Donald Leek and Barbara Presnell Leek.

Robert is survived by four children; Robert Leek II (Desirae Thomas), Rachel Lynn Leek, Ashley Nicole Leek, Dennis Leek (Rhiannon), as well as five brothers and sisters; Dennis “Butch” Leek (Thelma), Donnie Leek, Charley Funk (LeaAnn), Carrie Compton (Bob), and Charless Montgomery (Bud).  He is also survived by his grandchildren and they include; Dennis Leek, Layla Sue Leek, Jaxson Scott Leek, Robert Leek, III, Gabriel Nathaniel Leek, Huntyr Dennisyn Leek, and Grace Katurah Ann Leek, as well several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Leek, mother, Barbara Presnell Funk, step-father, Charles Funk, and two infant brothers, John Donald Leek and James Leek.  He loved to hunt and fish, play handball, and was a die-hard Colts fan.

Graveside services will be held at Bethesda Memorial Park on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Bob Roush officiating, with burial to immediately follow.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
