Robert Joseph "Bobby" "Radar" Vermillion, II

Robert Joseph “Bobby” “Radar” Vermillion, II, 65 of Clinton, IN, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 in his residence.  He was born in Clinton, IN on April 17, 1958 to Robert Joseph Vermillion and Elizabeth Joan Lewis Vermillion.

Bobby formerly worked at Peabody Coal Co. and Eli Lilly and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was very social and enjoyed being with family and friends, and enjoyed going to the Young Men’s Club and the American Legion in West Terre Haute as well as the Lion’s Club in Clinton.  His memberships include the West Terre Haute Masonic Lodge # 687 F & AM, the Scottish Rite, and the Zorah Shrine.

Bobby is survived by two sons, Michael J. Vermillion (Sonya) and Robert J. “Goob” Vermillion, III (Mallory), as well as three sisters; Terre Brown (Monte), Karen Eckerman, and Lee Ann Cook.  He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, his best friend Jerry Spurr, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
