Ronald Anderson

Ronald Ray Anderson, 84, of West Terre Haute, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in Miller’s Merry Manor. He was born May 29, 1937 in West Terre Haute to Raymond Anderson and Cleo Ensminger Anderson.

Ron served in the United States Marine Corps and was a truck driver for Holland Trucking. Ron was the former owner of the Dairy Castle.

He was a member of the Westside Christian Church. He was also a member of the American Legion in West Terre Haute. Ron enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Sue Anderson, who passed away in 2017; his son, Ronald Anderson II; and his stepson, Dwight Holland.

He is survived by his daughters, Kim Holland, Toni Holland and Traci Ray; sister, Sue Jones; eleven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. He is also survived by his cousin and best friend, Larry McGinnis.

Services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute; with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
