Ronald Gene Gemlich

Ronald Gene Gemlich, 83 of West Terre Haute, passed away on October 16, 2019 in his residence.  He was born in Lexington, IL on July 24, 1936 to Clarence Gemlich and Ruth Gemlich.

Ronald was a civil engineer for Hurst Roche Engineering and was a member of First Congregational Church of Terre Haute.  He enjoyed birdwatching and gardening, and was a big fan of the St Louis Cardinals and IU basketball.

Ronald is survived by three children; Millicent Rice (Kurt), Krista Milligan (Neal), and Tom Gemlich, and a granddaughter, McKenzie Rice.  Also surviving is a brother, Ted Gemlich, and two sisters-in-law, Jean Mallory and Ruthie Dolva. He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene Corneliussen, a grandson, Nicholas Joe Gemlich, and two sisters, Mardee Davis and Francine Ladd.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen with a celebration of life service to be held at a later date.
