Rose Marie (Favre) Howell

Rose Marie Howell, 78, of West Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in Union Hospital.

She was born October 30, 1942 in Terre Haute to Walter Favre and Winnifred Weir Favre.

Rose was a homemaker. She loved to play dice with her good friend, Judy.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Dave Cooper,  her husband, Charles Edward Howell; daughter, Charlene Akers; and two grandchildren, Charles Edward Howell III and Edward Leo Howell; and her son-in-law, Dave Akers.

She is survived by her sons, Walt Howell (Nancy) and Charlie Howell (Terrie); her daughter, Jeannie Cottom (Rick); brothers, Luck Favre (Glenda), Everett Favre (Kelly), Joe Favre (Georgia), Davey Cooper (Terrie); and sister, Jeannie Rae Moody (Russell). Rose is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Glenda Hay (Steve), Walt Howell II, Shanah Howell, and their mother, Sonya; Chasity Akers (Brandon), Autymn Akers, Dave Akers, Jr.(Crystal), Shannon Howell and her mother, Kim, Burlan Cottom and Gunner Thompson; 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday, March 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
