Rosemary Harmon

Rosemary Harmon, 88, of West Terre Haute passed away peacefully at 7:48 p.m. Monday August 29, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 22, 1927 in her family's home in Putnam County, IN to Joseph Barnett and Florence Burns Barnett. She grew up in nearby Poland, IN. She married her husband of sixty nine years, Don Stanley Harmon on April 27, 1947 and he survives. Also surviving are their three sons Ronald J. Harmon and his wife Susan, Curt A. Harmon and his wife Mary Jo, and Jeffrey D. Harmon; a sister Pat DeWeese; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Donna Rose Harmon; her parents; two sisters Mina Minger and Shirley Neese; and a brother Frank Barnett. Rosemary enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family. A Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Bethesda Memorial Park with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating. All friends and family are welcome. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice of the Wabash Valley with envelopes available at the service.
