Ruth Marie (Poppe) Buchanan

Ruth Marie Buchanan, 84 formerly of West Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Casey Healthcare in Casey, IL.  She was born in Orange County, IN on December 14, 1934 to Harmon Poppe and Pearl Smith Poppe.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Buchanan as well as 2 daughters, Barbara Ritter and Tina Marie Buchanan.

Graveside services will be held at Bethesda Memorial Park on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 1:00 PM, with burial to immediately follow.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
