Ruth Emma Fagg, 73 of Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in her residence. She was born in Terre Haute on October 21,1951 to Roy Wilson Atkinson and Joan Hedge Atkinson Thompson.

Ruth worked in housekeeping at Union Hospital and owned her own cleaning business with her sister Debbie. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed attending New Creation Church and reading the Word of God where she loved worshipping with her Church family. She was a cowgirl at heart, and enjoyed watching TV westerns, especially Gunsmoke.

Ruth is survived by her husband Everett Fagg, Sr., whom she married February 10, 1972 and also by two children, Angela Morris (Mike), and Everett Fagg, II. She is also survived by two grandsons, Michael Morris and Matthew Morris, a sister, Deborah Hoke (Craig), as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Wilson Atkinson and Joan Thompson, her brother, Jay Atkinson, and her sister Carolyn Atkinson.

Private graveside services will be held at Grandview Cemetery, with Pastor Rusty Deckard officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, in her memory. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
