Ruth F. (Huey) Minger

Ruth F. Minger, 98 of Terre Haute, passed away at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Providence Health Care Center.  She was born in Terre Haute on October 9, 1922 to Herbert Huey and Bessie Vaughn Huey.

Ruth was a life member of The Church of God, her family was the most important thing in her life.  She enjoyed quilting, working outside, and going to yard sales with her sisters.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Barbara Brashier, and her grandchildren; Tim Orr (Monica), Lynn Bucy (Shawn), and Joshua Ford (Stacey), as well as ten great grandchildren; Shae Orr, Taylor Pope (Husband J), Hunter Fields, Averie Fields (wife Reigan), Hailey Bucy, Carlos Salazar, Christopher Bucy, Faith Orr, Madison Ford, and Garrison Ford.  Also surviving is her great great granddaughter, Bowie Pope and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Minger, who passed away in 1977, as well as two grandchildren; Shannon Orr and Michelle Orr.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with her grandson, Tim Orr officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 11:00 AM until service at the funeral home.
