Sandra L. (Bartlett) (Garrett) Meadlo

Sandra L.   (Bartlett)  (Garrett) Meadlo, 81, of New Goshen, passed away August 25, 2018 in Providence Healthcare surrounded by her family.

She was born February 13, 1937 in Fort Branch, Indiana to Fenton Bartlett and Galeda Riggs Bartlett.

She graduated from Fort Branch High School and attended Oakland City College. She was a member of the Fort Branch Eastern Star. Sandra worked many years at Sackrider and Company then retired from First Financial Bank.

She was a devoted mother, raising two kids. After she married Larry in 1987, she became a stay at home wife and mother. She was a very strong woman, enduring many illnesses for several years.

She loved her family, including her beloved toy poodle, CoCo.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Meadlo; son, Tim Garrett, his wife, Robbin, and their children, Lance and Lyndsay Garrett; daughter, Traci McKinney, her husband, Doug, and their children, Trista Ristau (Andrew); and Trista and Andrew’s son, Rhett; Taylor Meadlo, her fiance’, Wade White; and Taylor and Wade’s son, Camden; and Megan McKinney; step-sons, Tony Meadlo; his daughter Tiffany Greig, her husband, Jay, and their children, Ainsley and Brynn Greig; Tim Meadlo, his wife, Leanne, and their daughter, Cheyenne Meadlo; and Terry Meadlo; niece, Myra Jeffers (Larry Hensley); and brother, Gary Bartlett.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bradley Garrett; brother, Pat Bartlett; two granddaughters, Tara Meadlo and Autumn Meadlo; and sister-in-law, Mary Bartlett.

Services will be held Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana with visitation from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Reverend Larry Richmond will be officiating; burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Goshen Fire and Rescue, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
