Shelly Jean Montgomery

Shelly Montgomery, 60, of West Terre Haute, passed away January 28, 2022 in Union Hospital, where she was reunited with her father, Bill Scott, and her bonus parents’, Arbie and Barbara Montgomery.

She is survived by her husband and best friend, Roger; daughters, Candie Cuffle (Jeremy) and Tera Montgomery; her beloved grandchildren, Allie (Dakota), Kaine (Cameryn), Thomas and Rook; the sweetest great granddaughter, Willow; her brother, John Scott; her special aunt, Carol Duncan; brother-in-law, Bud Montgomery (Charless), and sister-in-law, Melissa Tucker (Frank); several nieces and nephews; and her dog, Kopper with A Capital K.

Shelly enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren and doing crossword puzzles. Some of her fondest memories were the long trips on the Wabash River, boating, skiing and tubing.

Shelly was known for her unconditional and unselfish love. She felt blessed to have an abundance of exceptional friends and family, who have all been by her side throughout it all, as well as, with her family during their time of tremendous loss,  including her friends, Patty and Amy, and her spiritually uplifting friends, Buddy and Tiffany White.

Shelly’s family would like to thank Dr. R. Chua, Dr. A. Ravichandram and his nurse, Ann, and the Sugar Creek Fire Department for their exceptional care and thoughtfulness.
