Shirley Ann (King) Hedden, 77, of West Terre Haute passed away November 18, 2024, in her home surrounded by family. She was born December 9, 1946, in Terre Haute, Indiana to Bill King Sr. and Betty Stranahan King. She worked as a food deliverer for Meals on Wheels in West Terre Haute as well as working for the voter registration in West Terre Haute, helping those during elections. She was the manager of the Dairy Queen in West Terre Haute, as well as the Dairy Queen in Terre Haute. She also worked as a teacher’s aide in the special-needs class at West Vigo Elementary. She loved her family, especially her grandkids. She preceded in death by her mother and father and her husband, Billie Ray Hedden, who she married in 1962, brothers, Bill King Jr., and Paul Myers, sisters, Jean Crummin, Alice Fagg and Bobbie Hammond. She is survived by her son, Scott and his wife Teri, her daughters Tammie and her husband, Ron and Lisa, her husband, Mark, brothers Chuck King, Jim King, Fred Archer and brothers-in-law, Dick and Ricky, and sister, Mary Scank, grandchildren, Bradley, Kellie, Kilee, Dylan, Brandi, Erin, Kristopher, Jeremy, Adam, Courtney, Deana and Kendra along with 20 great grandchildren, dogs, Duke, Sissy, Maggie, best friend Knox Bradley, and several nieces nephews. Cremation was chosen with a celebration of life scheduled at a later date.
