Sondra K. "Sonie" (Givens) Green

Sondra K. “Sonie” Green, 76 of Terre Haute, passed away at 10:08 AM on Monday, December 31 at IU Health Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was born in West Terre Haute on March 28, 1942 to Walter “Red” Givens and Rosemary Roth Givens.

Sondra worked as a dietician at Cannon Inn.  She enjoyed cooking, working in her garden and growing flowers, going to the river, and playing BUNCO and Bingo with her Park Place friends, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Sondra is survived by three children; Lisa Foltz (Wayne), Christina Williams (Jack), and Terry Evans (Deana).  Also surviving re two stepsons, Greg Green and Larry Joe Green, as well as a brother, Larry Givens.  She also leaves behind grandchildren; Ann Williams, John Williams, Bethany Downing, Dustin Green, and Niki Pasko, and one great grandson, Gage Williams.  She was preceded in death by her husband George Green, and a grandson, Brent Foltz.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Bob Roush officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Tecumseh.  Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
