Stephen Ray Slack Jr.

Stephen R. Slack Jr., age 53, of Brazil, IN passed away April 13, 2025 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital due to an extended illness.Stephen was born on October 17, 1971 in Terre Haute, IN to Stephen Sr. and Brenda Slack. He attended South and Northview High Schools.Throughout his life he worked at our family funeral homes, became a professional painter by trade and later owned and operated his used clothing store called Threads which led him to becoming a top seller on eBay.Steve’s parents have passed but he is survived by many special loved ones. Stacey Slack and her sons Spencer and Henry Slack, Michael McKinney, Betty Cheek, Beverly Lawson, Susie Buck and Alexia Ray and her sons Hudson and Houston McMains.Per Stephen’s request, Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home will provide a direct cremation with no services. Stacey asks that you think of her big brother once in a while and smile at the sun. We will all see him again.
