Tammy Sue Fields Marles

Tammy Sue Fields Marles, 65 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 in her residence.  She was born in Terre Haute on December 8, 1958 to Robert Fields and Kathleen Hale Fields.

Tammy was the manager of the Zephyr Gas Station in West Terre Haute for 25 years and started a bicycle club with her husband Dave, and also loved to play BINGO.

Tammy is survived by her husband David C. Marles, Sr., and two children, Mark K. Lane, II and Crystal Lane, as well as her grandchildren; Dalton Frazier, MaKayla Gaston, Shauniece Gaston, and Mario Gaston, Jr., and great grandchildren; Zaylen Frazier, Emilia Frazier, and Amari’Ona Knox.  She is also survived by her sisters Linda Gifford, Lois Turner (Ken), and Rebecca Sanders, her stepchildren; Christopher Matthews and David Marles, Jr., her God daughter, Chevoyn Harlan, her special best friend, Kathy Clark, and her dog Sophie, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Kathleen Fields, a stepson Timothy Marles, and her brother Ronald Fields.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3^rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM in the funeral home.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen.
