Terrence R. "Terry" Evans

Terrence R. “Terry” Evans, 63 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 in his residence. He was born in Clinton, IN on October 17, 1961 to Gilbert Evans and Sondra Givens Evans.

Terry was employed by SRM/New Interstate Concrete for 21 years where he served as plant manager & driver. He was previously employed at Lamb Farms for 2 very special people, Ronnie and Sherry Lamb, who became his extended family. He loved his wife and being a grandpa and had a passion for fishing and was especially fond of the Upper Peninsula and Canada. He enjoyed family camping trips, boating with kids, hunting, smoking meats and grilling for any occasion, and any birthday dinner request his granddaughter Niki gave him including the seafood boils. He also enjoyed traveling and trying new foods wherever he ventured to as well as enjoying a cold beer and all the conversations with old friends at Tecumseh Tavern and New Goshen Pub.

Terry is survived by his wife Deana Boatman Evans, his step-daughter Lana Pasko, granddaughter Kayla “Niki” Pasko, and his father Gib Evans. He is also survived by his sister Christina Williams – Lisa, step-brothers Rick Thompson, Mark Thompson, Greg Green, and Joe Green, as well as three sisters-in-law; Kim Beeler (Butch), Ginger Boone (Matt), and Peggy Rebeck (Victor), and special friends; George, Jerry, John, Cameron, Jeff, Chelsea, Angie, and Charissa, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Sondra Givens Green.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Mark Strahm officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasantview Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
