Terry D. Freeman

Terry D. Freeman, 79 of Williamsport, IN passed on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 10:25 PM at home. He was born in West Terre Haute on April 28, 1942 to Fred Freeman and Eppy Hughes Freeman.

Terry graduated from Valley High School in 1960 and was an Air Force Veteran.  He was dedicated to his family and supported them by 33 years as a Millwright at Olins and 12 years in maintenance at Purdue.  He enjoyed locksmithing, following Purdue sports and competing with his twin brother Joe knife collecting.

Terry married Mary Jo Voils Freeman April 17, 1961.  Their children are Kelly Dawn, Terry Jr., Troy (Randy), Todd (Rebecca) and Trudy Freeman Baumgartner.  He had an undescribed love for his grandchildren:  Kourtni, Kameron, Sydney, Nathan, Andrew, Micah, Kateland and Emily, and his great grandchildren:  Savannah, Branson, Ambrea, Rowan, Leo, Marley, Oliver and Coraline.  He loved and laughed with his siblings:  Norman (Betty), Doyle, Fred (Almary), Judy (Harry), Larry “Joe” (Marilyn) and Linda (Larry).  In addition, he was blessed with an extended family:  Dave Voils (Jane), Bill Voils (Pat), Clara Sue Roberts (Tommy), Margee Roberts and several nieces and nephews.

His recent reconnection with niece Kathy Jean brought him great comfort and happiness.  We all thank her for her loving and eternal gift.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, November 5, 2021, with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating.  Visitation begins at 11:00 AM with Military Services at 1:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
