Thomas Lee "Poad" Harmon Sr., 73, of Terre Haute formerly of Libertyville, IN passed away Tuesday morning December 20, 2016 in his home. He retired as a brakeman for the Milwaukee Railroad after thirty two years of service. He was born May 28, 1943 in Libertyville to Clyde Harmon and Helen Hurst Harmon. Survivors include: four children, Joey L. Harmon and his wife Cindy, Lisa Cinotto and her husband Scott, Christy Roth, and Thomas L. Harmon Jr.; a brother Don W. Harmon and his wife Mary Kay; a sister Barbara Shoemaker; six grandchildren Christopher Rumple, Cody Rumple, Cayden Cinotto, Mackenzie Roth, Lindsay Roth, and Morgan Roth; two step-grandchildren Rhyan Moyes and Levi Moyes; a step-great grandchild Layne Moyes; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers William C. Harmon, James Richard Harmon, and Ronnie Clyde Harmon. He was a member of the American Legion Post 104 and the Murdock Racing Club. He enjoyed fishing on the Wabash River at Tecumseh, gardening, and visiting with friends and family. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Roush officiating. Burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until service time Friday.
