Tommy V. Bryan, 76 of rural Paris, IL, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 in his residence. He was born in Terre Haute on July 23, 1946 to Donald Bryan and Maxine Minnich Bryan.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 53 years Mary Catherine “Kathy” Anderson Bryan, and their three children; Mandi Akers (Jim Brown), Heather Hinkle, and Jason Bryan (Kelley Christenberry), as well as nine grandchildren; Jessica Higgins (Jeff), Jana Akers (Jesse Spires), Josey Wolfe (Jacob), Taylor Bryan, Shelby Hinkle, Garrett Hinkle, Bryan Hinkle, Cody Hinkle, and Evan Bryan, and twelve great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, David Bryan, Sr. and a sister, Pamela Bryan, and a lifetime friend, Larry Mason, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Tommy was a truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Local Union # 135. He was a semi driver for Yellow, Roadway, McLarens, and Preston among other trucking companies. He became disabled in 1998 and suffered a massive stoke in 2001, along with several bouts of throat cancer.
Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM (Indiana time). Burial will follow in New Providence Cemetery in rural Paris, IL. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Indiana time) in the funeral home.
