Vickie Lynn (Strain) Bonham

Vickie L Bonham, age 68, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday evening, August 25, 2020 at her residence with her beloved family by her side. She was the co-owner of Little Cee’s Pizza and Subs.

She was born Jan 11, 1952, in Terre Haute, to Arthur James Strain and Stella Jane Johnson Strain. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Danny Bonham;  a daughter and Son in Law, Tina and Robert Halstead; a son and daughter in Law, Buddy and Cherrie Bonham; nine Grandchildren - Cody Wilson and girlfriend Morgan, Jaysa Wilson and boyfriend James, Chris Halstead and girlfriend Katy, Kenny Halstead, Michael Halstead, Benny Halstead, Brody Halstead, Ashley Strain and Scotty Lucas; one great grandchild, Makenna Wilson.

She is also survived by two sisters, Donna Johnson and Rosemary Greenwell; one Brother and sister in law, Bill & Donna Strain; brother in law and sister in law, Robert & Betty Bonham, brother in law, Jack Switzer and sister in law, Joyce Strain and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends all of which she loved very much.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Gene Strain, Jim Strain and Jerry Strain; and two sisters Ruby Rossicoe and Betty Jo Switzer; two brothers in law, Bob Johnson and Richard Greenwell and one sister in law Eva “Dimples” Strain.

The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Lynn Pittman not only for the amazing medical attention she provided to Vickie but also for her acts of genuine care and concern that brought great comfort to Vickie and the family. There are no words to describe the appreciation the family has for Dr. Pittman.

The family would also like to recognize the personnel from Prairieton Fire Department, TransCare, and Vigo County Sheriff’s office for all their extraordinary efforts. It was greatly appreciated.

Private funeral services for Vickie will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN, on Saturday, August 29, 2020, with Pastor Terry Whitlock officiating.  Burial will follow at New Harmony Cemetery.
