Virginia Marie "Ginny" Baugues earned her angel wings on October 27th, 2017. Born October 4th, 1955 in Iowa City, Iowa, and grew up in Waterloo, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her father Adrian Clausen and mother Virginia Mary (Van Erem) Clausen-Peredes. Ginny spent the early years of her life growing up and living in Waterloo Iowa. At age 17 she married and moved to western Washington, where she lived for 25 years. She worked for 12 years in Port Orchard for Kitsap Residences as program director for adults with disabilities. Ginny found her soulmate Howard Baugues in 1997 and they married in Port Orchard Washington July 24th, 1998 and were happily married for 19 years living in West Terre Haute Indiana. While living in West Terre Haute she worked at Con Agra/Graham Grain for 5 years before being disabled due to heart problems. In retirement Ginny enjoyed crocheting, gardening, canning, cooking, roll playing video adventures, traveling, computer challenges and long or short car rides in their Triumph Spitfire. She was a founding member and membership chair for the North American Spitfire Squadron. Most of all she loved being grandma & great grandma. She leaves behind her husband Howard; siblings, Carl Clausen, Bruce Clausen and Jerry Clausen of Iowa Mary {Clausen) Hough and Jacquelyn {Clausen) Corcoran of California. Children; Emery (& Cindy) Jackson, Poulsbo Washington; Patricia (& Amanda) Cervantes of Bremerton, Washington; Tina Hayes of Poulsbo, Washington; Amy (Baugues) Lafrentz (& Matt Stoner) of Noblesville, Indiana; Les ( & Tina) Summit of Seymour Indiana; Michael Baugues of Indiana; Jo Anna (Hutchins) (& Hank) Hayden of Poulsbo Washington; Ryan Hutchins of Poulsbo Washington; Jack Hutchins of Poulsbo Washington. Grandchildren: Anthony Miranti, Miranda Larrin, Emery Jackson, Jason Jackson, Presly Jackson, Caleb Jackson, Daniel Shiley, Olivia Beedles, Issabell Beedles, Sheryl Babine, Angel Marie Hayes, Eileen Hayes, Audree Lafrentz, Mercedes (Setzer) Timmons, Hailey Summit. Great-grandchildren: Anika Leet, Gideon Babine, Issabella Setzer, Indigo Rose Hayden, Hayden DiLorenzo-Hutchins. She is also survived by a special cousin, Dee Damro of Waterloo Iowa, and many other cousins, nieces and nephews, too many to list. She was blessed with a large circle of family and friends throughout her life. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Wednesday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and prior to services Wednesday. Cremation has been scheduled after all services.
